While Google is still thinking about things (here Forbes tells about an email exchange between the founder of CoinList, Jarar Malik, and the vice president of Google, Vic Gundotra),Microsoft has taken a first (small) step towards Bitcoin (here is the post by David Orban on the potential for emigrants).
Microsoft has added Bitcoin to its currency converter according to data from CoinBase. The service, for now, is only available in Australia, Canada, India, UK, and U.S.. Or, for those who use the U.S. version of the search engine.
